Robert Loran Debnam developed an interest in photography after working with Portland photographer and friend Rob Rae. The two were introduced through an interview held by Robert in search of a professional photographer for Roberts of Portland, the high-end salon he and his wife Elissa own. Not long after, Robert became a photographer's assistant to Rob Rae, learning the art and science behind a good picture, eventually becoming the salon's official photographer. He now blends his experience in fashion with portrait and landscape.
